Folly Tournament

The Folly Beach Fishing Pier is one of the best destinations in the Lowcountry for pier fishing. Not just your typical wooden pier, this breathtaking landmark stretches out 1045' into the sparkling Atlantic Ocean and offers spectacular views, fishing, dining, tournaments, special events, and more throughout the year!

Experience Charleston's distinctive architecture, history and culture during the Preservation Society of Charleston's 34th Annual Fall Tours of Homes and Gardens. Visit intimate gardens and architecturally significant private homes, churches and public buildings as you stroll through our historic streets. Tours highlight American architecture from the early Georgian Period into the 20th century. You will enjoy unique neighborhoods that represent Charleston's flourishing culture from the Colonial era to the present. Most of the properties on tour are privately owned and are open to the public exclusively for the Preservation Society of Charleston.

  Taste of Charleston - Boone Hall Plantation ,
Mt. Pleasant     October 8-10, 2010 will mark the 30th annual Taste of Charleston event. The three-day celebration of Lowcountry cuisine is being hosted once again by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association and will feature some of Charleston's finest, nationally-renowned chefs. For more than 20 years, this charity fund-raising event has been named one of the "Top 20 events in the Southeast" by Southeastern Tourism Society. More than 10,000 guests are expected and there will be something for people of all ages to enjoy.
